The plants and subdivisions of KAMAZ summed up the results of fulfilling the October 2017 production plan. Some 14 percent more vehicles were manufactured than in the ten months last year.
In October, 4,418 vehicle sets were produced (compared to 4,058 in October 2016). This figure reached the level of 30,907 vehicle sets since the beginning of the year, up 14 percent compared to the ten months of the last year (27,156 y-o-y).
Earlier, KAMAZ increased assembly rates up to 200 trucks a day, while the year's new vehicles – Kamaz-6580, Kamaz-65801 and Kamaz-65802 – rolled off the assembly line alongside with serial ones. In accordance with the 2017 business plan, the company intends to sell 36,000 vehicles, of which 6,000 on the foreign markets.
