Tatarstan enterprise won Russian Government Quality Award

Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on awarding the 2017 Government's prizes in the field of quality. Applicants for the award were selected by the Council for the Russian Government's Quality Awards.

The winners of the 2017 awards are TagraS-EnergoService (Tatarstan), Stavropol State Agrarian University (Stavropol Area), Vertex (St. Petersburg), Saratov Oil Refinery (Saratov Region), and INVITRO Independent Laboratory (Moscow). The government awards will also be granted to Efirnoye (Belgorod Region), Giprogazoochistka (Moscow), Vladimirsky Bakery Complex (Vladimir Region), Inforum-Prom (Ryazan Region), and Medovy Dom (Novgorod Region).

The Government Quality Award is the highest state award in this field; it has been awarded since 1996 by the Chairman of the Russian Government to enterprises and organisations for achieving significant results in the field of quality of products and services, as well as for implementing high-quality methods of quality management. The audit and subsequent recommendations of experts are effective tools for encouraging an enterprise to improve its organisational structure of management and production, enhance competitiveness, and introduce new technologies and innovations.
