Russian Helicopters Holding began testing the multi-purpose Ansat helicopter in Pakistan to confirm the possibility of operating the machine in high air temperatures.

At the moment, the helicopter has already started test flights. It is planned to expand the working temperature profile of Ansat up to + 50°C, so that the range will be from - 45°C to + 50°C.

The tests are scheduled for completion by mid-November. Following the tests, a conference for potential Pakistani helicopter buyers is expected in Islamabad to study its competitive advantages and operational features.

Ansat is a lightweight twin-engine multipurpose helicopter, the full-scale production of which is deployed at the Kazan Helicopters. In May 2015, the helicopter was certified with a medical module that meets all international standards of sanitary aviation and allows saving a person's life for the period of transportation. According to the helicopter’s certificate, its design allows to convert it into a cargo version or into a passenger rotorcraft that can lift up to seven people.
