A press conference was held at the KAMAZ Press and Frame Plant, dedicated to the production of the 10-thousandth cab frame for a new model range of trucks.
The cabs of these series are installed on the entire family of advanced vehicles, including the popular KAMAZ-5490 tractor, KAMAZ-6580 and KAMAZ-65801 dump trucks, and others. The jubilee cab frame was one for the KAMAZ-5490 truck.
The KAMAZ Press Service noted that the production of 10,000 cab frames is the result of the well-coordinated work of a large team. Within the framework of the event, awards were delivered to employees of the Press and Frame Plant.
The order to open the Cab Project was signed in March 2013. In December the same year, the welding line for new cabs was put into operation. In the shortest time, new advanced equipment was installed, and in late 2013, the first 45 cab frames left the new assembly line. In mid-November of 2016, a five-thousandth cab frame was manufactured.
