On August 9, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov visited the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “All-Russiaт Research Institute of Flow Metering” (FGUP VNIIR).

During the visit, Albert Karimov studied the primary and special State standards located in the company's reference unit and the main development areas of the FGUP VNIIR.

The FGUP VNIIR is the main research institution in the structure of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology in the field of ensuring the uniformity of measurements of flow and quantity of liquid, gas, gas-liquid flows, as well as level and capacity.

At the moment, the Institute is one of the seven State-run scientific and metrology establishments within the Rosstandart system.

On October 20-22, the Yalta-Intourist Hotel will host the 8th Specialised Exhibition of Building Materials and Technologies titled “StroyExpoKrym”. The event is organised with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of Crimea.

The presentation site will bring together the displays in different subject areas: finishing materials, dry mixes, paints and varnishes, all kinds of roofing, heat and sound insulation, window and door systems, gates, protective mechanisms, accessories, natural and artificial stone, etc.

On August 08, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan hosted a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov and Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Kazan Wu Yingqin.

During the meeting, participants discussed the issues of further mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries and identified promising areas for such cooperation.

The event was also attended by Consul-Attaché Pien Xiaoqiang, Consul Li Fei, First Deputy Minister of Land and Property Relations of Tatarstan Sergey Demidov, and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Denis Valeyev.

The Youth Vocational Guidance Forum titled “PROF Movement” is a unique platform to implement the vocational guidance activities in Tatarstan and KAMAZ aimed at positioning and popularising white-collar and blue-collar jobs among the younger generation, enhancing the role of young employees in the industrial development, employing the scientific and educational potential for the systematic involvement of young people into innovative development processes in the mechanical engineering sector.

The Forum’s mission is to form a “youth area” united by a single spirit and purpose, to allow exchanging knowledge and to produce a positive emotional surge among the student youth of the country, to implement a set of measures aimed at popularising white-collar and blue-collar jobs: from visits to advanced manufacturing facilities and meetings with top managers to conducting intellectual, educational events. The “PROF Movement” has become a new large-scale event in joint career-oriented work of the State and business and an example for other regions.

The Forum is organised by KAMAZ jointly with the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tatarstan Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Protection.

Today, within the framework of the 6th World Congress of Tatars, Korston Hotel & Mall hosted a presentation of socio-economic and industrial facilities in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Ildar Mingaleyev. He made a presentation of the Tatarstan’s industrial potential to the quests of the Congress. They were also briefed on the results of the industrial development and told about the leading republic’s enterprises. Ildar Mingaleyev drew attention of the Congress participants to the opportunity of promoting the products manufactured by Tatarstan enterprises through the newly created portal madeintatarstan.com.

Today, within the framework of the working visit of the Czech Republic delegation headed by Governor of the South Moravian Region Bohumil Šimek to the Republic of Tatarstan, a meeting was held in the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Almaz Khusainov made a presentation of the Republic’s industrial potential. During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed and an agreement was reached on the joint preparation of the roadmap for the development of trade and economic cooperation.

On August 2, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Almaz Khusainov took part in the discussion platform entitled “Tatar Entrepreneurship and Patronage” within the framework of the 6th World Congress of Tatars held in the Tatarstan Ministry of Culture.

During the event, the participants discussed issues of philanthropy and charity, development of the tourism industry, trade activities, promotion of Tatarstan products, and development of horse breeding industry in Tatarstan.

On August 1, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a working meeting with top executives of the Tatarstan Regional Leasing Company that was created following the competitive selection determining the constituent entities in the Russian Federation that would be eligible for establishing regional leasing companies within the preferential equipment-leasing programme of the SME Corporation.

The preferential equipment-leasing programme is intended for individual and small business entities acquiring new high-tech industrial equipment, as well as equipment for processing and storage of agricultural products.

The leasing programme terms are as follows:

- Interest rate: 6% per annum (for Russia-made equipment), 8% per annum (for foreign-made equipment);

- Funding amount: from RUB 5 million to RUB 200 million;

- Advance payment: starting from 15% of the leased asset value.

More than 200 finalists of corporate competitions are taking part in the Young Professionals Championship based on WorldSkills standards, which is being held corporation-wide by Rostec at various sites from Moscow to Novosibirsk on July 25 to August 5.

The Kazan Helicopters nominated its finalists of the qualifying corporate competition in 4 skills: turning and milling operations on CNC machines, production assembly of aircraft, CAD engineering graphics, and Life Cycle Management presentation.

The winners of the championship will form a single Rostec team, which will represent the Corporation at the annual national championship of high-tech cross-industry skills “WorldSkills Hi-Tech” in Yekaterinburg.

Qualifying competitions are aimed at raising professional standards and developing healthy competition among service job professionals of the holding company and the entire Rostec Corporation, in particular. These events allow the corporation to not only prepare and identify champions capable of worthily showing high professionalism on WorldSkills Hi-Tech in October 2017, but also to raise the prestige of blue-collar and white-collar jobs being in demand for high-tech enterprises in Russia.
