1 September, 2008 in Kazan an official opening of Business Presentation Forum took place, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). In the work of the Forum participated the representatives of business circles of Tatarstan and Japan.

On August 27-th, 2008 a meeting took place between Mr A. Kogogin, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and Mr Yin Tongyue, President , Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chinese company “Chery Automobiles”

Agreement about cooperation between RT Cabinet, “United Aircraft Corporation” JSC and Gorbunov KAPO was signed today in Kazan within scientific-practical conference “Modern technologies – the key point in revival of domestic aircraft building”.

The document was signed by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of “United Aircraft Corporation” (OAK) Aleksey Fedorov.

On July 22 to July 26, Minister of Industry and Trade Aleksandr Kogogin performs working trip to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

On 25TH July, 2008, RT Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with FGU «Tatarstan CSM» and AFAQ AFNOR Rus company is holding a seminar on “International management experience serving Russia’s business and state authorities”

On 16 July 2008, the Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a working meeting of First Deputy Minister Vladimir Solovyev with representatives of foreign companies; the meeting was also attended by representatives of the Kazan Branch of Troika Dialog Investment Company.

On 16 July 2008 in Moscow, Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Aleksandr Kogogin took part in the second session of the Organising Committee for preparation and holding of the 4th International Forum “Forest and Man” to be held in the Expocentre in September this year.
