In early October 2014, the 75,000th Ford rolled off the production line at the Ford Sollers in Yelabuga.

In the short run, the successful Ford SUV in Russia line will be complemented with the Ford EcoSport subcompact crossover. The model will become the first vehicle to be manufactured on the production line at the upgraded Ford Sollers facility in Naberezhnye Chelny.

In 2015, Ford Sollers in Naberezhnye Chelny will approve a manufacture of Ford Fiesta.    

On 1 October 2014, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov attended the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Yokogawa Electric Corporation Takashi Nishijima.

Within the framework of the meeting, parties signed a Memorandum of Intents between Tatarstan and Yokogawa Electric.
In late September 2014, the first group of cadets from the Syzran subsidiary of the Air Force Military Educational and Scientific Centre of the Zhukovsky - Gagarin Air Force Academy successfully completed their pilotage training on new Ansat U helicopters that were designed and manufactured at the Kazan Helicopters, the affiliate of the Russian Helicopters holding.

From 2 to 3 October 2014, the economic delegation from the Sichuan Province headed by Deputy Director of the Development and Reform Committee Zhao Hui, People’s Republic of China, visited Tatarstan.

On 2 October 2014, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting with the Sichuan Province delegation.

On 2 October 2014, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting of the contest’s commission on summarising the results of the regional stage of the ENES All-Russian Contest of Implemented Projects in Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving.

Works of the regional stage winners are sent to the Russian Ministry of Energy for the further participation in the federal stage of the Contest.

Within the framework of the state programme entitled ‘Saving, Learning and Development of State Languages of Tatarstan and Other Languages of Tatarstan’, the republic launches the contest ‘Use of Two State Languages among Employees of Tatarstan Trade Enterprises.

The mission of the contest is to identify trade industry employees having the best knowledge in state languages of Tatarstan that is needed for high employment performance.

On 30 September 2014, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Akim (Head) of the Aktobe Region of Kazakhstan Arkhimed Mukhambetov within the framework of the official mission to Kazakhstan and participation in the 11th Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan. The meeting was also attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Damir Safiullin.

During the meeting, parties discussed issues of economic, trade, cultural, and educational cooperation between two regions.

On 29 September 2014, the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the SEZ Alabuga was held, attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov. The meeting of the Supervisory Board was chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in the Tatarstan House of the Government.

During the today’s meeting, members of the Supervisory Board examined four projects.

The meeting of the discussion club of the Czech Republic’s business community was held in the Praha’s Council House. It was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, as well as by heads of flagship enterprises of the Czech Republic’s industry and representatives of structures that serve and finance the Czech Republic’s exports.

From 25 to 26 September 2014, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov is participating in the official mission of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Prague, the Czech Republic.

The programme of the mission in the Czech Republic includes negotiations with business community of the region, a tour of Technology Innovation Transfer Chamber and INTEMAC scientific and research centres, as well as TOS KURIM production facilities. Meetings with a number of dignitaries are also on the agenda.
