OOO Tatneft-AZS (filling stations) Centre held the 15th Traditional Professional Skills Competition among Leading Professions. This year, 40 employees from 8 Tatneft affiliates participated in the contest. The participants of the contest were the representatives of the affiliates from Almetyevsk, Bavly, Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Samara, Chuvashia, Mari El, and Udmurtia.
The contest gives to participants to undergo professional training and inspires employees to commitment, high work performance, and enhances the image of Tatneft as well.
Technopolis Himgrad celebrated its 9th anniversary. It was commissioned on 2 August 2006.
Technopolis Himgrad is the first certified industrial park in Russia, which has 257 companies with 6857 employers successfully working on its territory. For 9 years of its activity, the residents elaborated hundreds of products, obtained over 60 patents and trademarks, and created dozens of unique techniques.
Ford Sollers is extending the popular among customers vehicle recycling programme by Ford up to August. The entire model range of Ford vehicles is available under the programme terms, which allows to purchase new Ford Fiesta, Ford EcoSport, Ford Mondeo, Ford Kuga and Ford Explorer manufactured in 2015, as well as Ford Focus and a new Ford Transit manufactured in 2014 and 2015 on favourable terms.
On 3 August 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov presented the Letter of Gratitude by the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers to Anastasia Steklova, the Leading Adviser from the Department for Wood Processing, Food and Light Industries of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade for her long-term fruitful work in the executive authority of the republic.
OAO POZIS team attended the 5th International Youth Industrial Forum ‘Engineers of the Future 2015’.
In 2015, Engineers of the Future Forum was attended by over 1000 participants from 60 regions of Russia (320 enterprises) and over 20 countries.
The POZIS team showed their worth in the educational programme of the Forum and demonstrated good physical training and creativity within the framework of sports and entertainment. Thus, the representatives of the plant held two workshops within the business programme: ‘POZIS: The Way to Success’ and ‘Lean IT’, the use of lean production in IT. They ranked 3rd in the sports race.
On 31 July 2015, official opening ceremony of Spassky Fair was held in Yelabuga and was attended by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhamov. The opening ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded the participants of the fair that he had attended the opening ceremony in Yelabuga several years ago and from year to year the celebrations are held on a larger scale. This year, Yelabuga hosts over 1200 craftsmen from different Russian and foreign cities.
On 31 July 2015, the Tatarstan Ministry of industry and Trade hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov and the representatives of the business community from Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast.
The delegation included 20 companies from Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast. During the meeting, the participants had chance to learn about the trade and economic potential of Tatarstan and discussed the issues of the interregional cooperation development.
On 31 July 2015, Kazan hosted the opening ceremony of the Eurasian Local Governments Congress of the World Organization ‘United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG)’.
The event was attended by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Representative Plenipotentiary of the Russian President in Volga Federal District Oleg Melnichenko, Chairman of the Current Issues Committee of the Congress of the Council of Europe and Tatarstan State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, secretaries general of 7 regional departments of UCLG, deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia, and consuls of Turkey and Iran.
The main topic of the Congress is ‘Local Solutions for Global Development: Towards the Eurasian Integration’. The meeting aims to strengthen the Eurasian cooperation and increase the cohesion and unity of the Eurasian geopolitical region, as well as to enhance the potential and involvement of the local governments in the global decisions making process.
From 31 July to 2 August 2015, Yelabuga is hosting the 8th All-Russia Spassky Fair and the 8th All-Russia Carillon Festival.
The fair opening ceremony will be attended by Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, and the Yelabuzhsky District authorities.
The ethnic and agricultural courtyards will be operating at the Spassky Fair. The master classes on souvenir making will be organised for everyone in the ‘City of Masters’. The ‘City of Masters’ will host craftsmen from different Russian and Tatarstan cities, such as Moscow, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Zlatoust, Nizhny Tagil, Izhevsk, Vsevolozhsk, Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Sviyazhsk, Bolgar, Mendeleyevsk, and Yelabuga.
On 30 July 2015, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov chaired the regular meeting of the Republic’s Organising Committee on preparation to hold the 16th FINA World Championships 2015 and the 16th FINA World Masters Championships in Kazan.
In his opening speech, Ildar Khalikov congratulated everyone with the beginning of the 16th FINA World Aquatics Championships 2015 in Kazan. He noted that the sport complexes are hosting trainings and contests and the sports infrastructure showed its reliability. He called everyone to continue their well-coordinated work within the framework of the World Aquatics Championships and the World Masters Championships in Kazan 2015.
