On 9 February 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov held a working meeting on improving the organisation process of the republic`s Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Contest and its holding.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade; FBU State Regional Centre for Standardisation, Metrology and Testing of the Republic of Tatarstan; the Executive Committee of Kazan; and Office of the Commissioner under the Tatarstan President for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs.
During the meeting, the participants considered the proposals on improvement of the organisation process of the republic`s contest, as well as its holding and promotion.
On 9 February 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov held a meeting with Tatarstan representatives in Russian regions, CIS and non-CIS countries.
During the meeting, the participants discussed issues of current activities of Tatarstan representatives in development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as their interaction with compatriots. Albert Karimov specified priority tasks and promising areas of activities for Tatarstan representative offices.
On 9 February 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Board and President of OAO AK Transneft Nikolay Tokarev.
During the meeting, the Agreement on mutual cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and AO AK Transneft was signed.
On 9 February 2016, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov participated in the extended meeting of the Collegium of the Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication “On the Results of Activity of the Information and Communication Industry in 2015 and Tasks for 2016” with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The main task for the republic`s information and communication industry is the further development of Innopolis. This was stated by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov during the Final Collegium of the Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication.
During the Collegium, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, top executives of PAO Tattelecom, ANO Innopolis University and GAU IT-Park took the floor during the Collegium. The event was also attended by Director General of Russian Post Dmitry Strashnov.
Following the results of 2015, the volume of industrial production in the Republic of Tatarstan exceeded the results of 2014 and amounted to RUB 1.856 trillion; the industrial production index amounted to 100.4%. It was announced today by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov during a Joint Final Collegium of the Tatarstan Ministry of Economy and the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The event was held at the Volga Region State Academy of Physical Culture, Sport, and Tourism (Universiade Village, Kazan).
The Collegium was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Oleg Fomichev, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Dmitry Ovsyannikov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan State Councillor Mintimer Shaimiev, and others.
On 8 February 2016, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Dmitry Ovsyannikov had a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. He was accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.
Dmitry Ovsyannikov participated in the meeting of the Joint Collegium of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Tatarstan Ministry of Economy.
Dmitry Ovsyannikov made a tour of the production site of one of the largest residents of Technopolis Himgrad, Danaflex-Nano, which specialises on production of flexible nano-covered packaging.
On 8 February 2016, the Joint Final Collegium of the Tatarstan Ministry of Economy and the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade will be held in Kazan with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The programme of the Joint Final Collegium includes: a press point with the participation of Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Dmitry Ovsyannikov, a tour of the exhibition, a meeting of the Joint Final Collegium of the Tatarstan Ministry of Economy and the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and an awarding ceremony.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov emphasises that “the economic situation in 2015 was quite challenging. Despite this, the volume of industrial production exceeded the indicators of 2014 and totalled RUB 1.856 trillion”.
On 5 February 2016, an extended meeting of the Volga Region Administration of Rostekhnadzor (Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision) was held in Kazan.
The meeting was attended by Head of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision Aleksei Aleshin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and Head of the Volga Region Administration of Rostekhnadzor Boris Petrov.
During the meeting, participants discussed issues of implementing chemical and petrochemical projects, prosecutorial supervision over the execution of laws on industrial safety, inspection of capital construction projects, a programme of activities on improving the reliability and safe operation of technological equipment at hazardous production facilities, etc.
On 4 February 2016, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting with top executives of outlet chains on topical issues of trade development in the republic.
The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhov; top officials of the Tatarstan Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Services; the Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Food; the Tatarstan State Alcoholic Inspection, GUP National Trade Mark, as well as top executives of food enterprises and outlet chains of the republic.
During the meeting, the participants considered issues of ensuring unhindered access to trade facilities for handicapped individuals, pricing for socially important food products, promotion of products from Tatarstan manufacturers to outlet chains.
On 3 February 2016, the plenary session “The Automotive Industry in Russia: Trends, Forecasts, Outlook” was held within the business programme of the International Automotive Forum “TIAF”. During the plenary session, the participants of the Forum discussed topical issues of development of the automotive industry in the republic and country.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov made a presentation of the Tatarstan industrial potential, described the cluster approach in the development of Tatarstan economy and specified the main areas for development of Tatarstan automotive industry.
In their speeches, Director General of the Association of European Businesses (AEB) Frank Schauff and Vice President of Messe Frankfurt GmbH Michael Johannes considered prospects for mutually beneficial international cooperation.
