Tatarstan delegation continues their visit to the Free State of Thuringia. Today, the participants visited the Hannover Messe, where the stand of Tatarstan is also displayed.

Hannover Messe is the world's leading industrial exhibition. The main recent years’ topics – integrated industry and integrated energy – address the concept of Industry 4.0, which implies the digital integration of business processes.

Hannover Messe will feature five parallel shows:

- IAMD (Integrated Automation, Motion & Drives)

- Digital Factory (Integrated Processes and IT Solutions)

- Energy (Integrated Energy Systems and Mobility)

- Industrial Supply (Innovative Subcontracting Solutions and Lightweight Structures)

- Research & Technology (R&D and Technology Transfer)

For the first time, right alongside with Hannover Messe, the CeMAT exhibition will be held, the main event for internal logistics and supply chain management.

Warehouse management systems, smart containers, driverless vehicles, all-channel and inter-channel solutions... Every two years, Hannover Messe and CeMAT will demonstrate the opportunities that resulted from the combined efforts of Logistics 4.0 and Industry 4.0.

On April 26, the Training and Production Centre of the Kazan Motor-Building Production Association hosted the event timed to the 5th anniversary since the opening of the technical creativity groups at the enterprise. The Association is a home for such groups as Gas Dynamics and Gas Turbine Engines, Automation and Mechanisation, and 3D Modelling.

The event was attended by executives of educational institutions, representatives of ministries and agencies, the Republic’s Council of Innovators and Inventors, the Republic’s Centre for Out-of-School Work, students of general education institutions attending technical creativity groups, and teaching staff of the groups. On behalf of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, a welcome speech was delivered by Head of Corporate Governance Dept. Andrey Fyodorov.

In the course of the year, the children studied new skills and competencies, were involved in scientific and technical creativity, rationalisation activities, and joined the republic’s competitional movement. The company’s expertise in technical creativity development was presented at the republic’s meeting on October 6, 2017.

Within the framework of the event, the award ceremony was organised for prizewinners of the republic’s contests held in 2018.

Minister for Economic Affairs, Science, and Digital Society of Thuringia Wolfgang Tiefensee and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov co-chaired a meeting of the Tatarstan-Thuringia working group to sum up the joint work results in 2017 and outline targets for 2018-2019. The event ended with signing the Minutes of the 2nd Tatarstan-Thuringia Working Group Meeting and the Cooperation Agreement between EBZ and KAMAZ.

The delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Tatarstan Albert Karimov is on a visit to Erfurt (Germany) from April 23th to 27th, 2018.

Today, within the framework of the visit, the delegation made a tour of the Erfurt Education Centre. This Centre is an association of companies that provide innovative services in the field of technical and industrial education in Thuringia and beyond.

On April 24, the final two-day exhibition of the 8th Forum Our Tatarstan opened in the IT Park.

The Republic’s Youth Forum Our Tatarstan resulted in selecting the best projects and youth programmes for further support and backing from the Tatarstan Government, partners, potential investors, and Forum organisers. Moreover, the Forum is the main platform for selecting the best projects from Tatarstan for participation in federal venues such as the Volga Federal District Youth Forum iVolga, the All-Russian youth educational forums Taurida, Territory of Meanings, and Baltic Artek. In 2018, a total of 908 applications in 11 subject areas were submitted for participation at the Forum.

The exhibition display was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Almaz Khusainov.

The final two-day exhibition of the Forum will traditionally take place in the IT Park on April 24th and 25th, 2018. Each year, more than 1000 young people take part in the Forum finals by attending educational events, exhibitions of the best youth projects, meetings with famous people, as well as the award ceremony for the winners of the Republic’s Youth Forum Our Tatarstan.

Kazan is hosting a meeting today of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the CIS Member States. The participants to the event visited the Kazan Higher Tank Command School to make a tour of the exhibition of weapons and military equipment manufactured by defence industry enterprises of Tatarstan.

On April 19, qualifying competitions for the finals of the 6th National Young Professionals Championship (WorldSkills Russia) 2018 began in the Russian Federation. The first contestants from Tatarstan arrived to Moscow on April 15.

Earlier, a total of 17 regions in the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Tatarstan, have been selected for qualifying rounds on 74 skills of WorldSkills and 46 skills of WorldSkills Junior, of which the Republic of Tatarstan will be represented in 67 skills of WorldSkills and in 21 skills of WorldSkills Junior.

Specifically, from April 18 to April 28, Komsomolsk-on-Amur (Khabarovsk Krai) will host qualifying competitions for the five skills assigned to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan – namely, the Sheet Metal Technology, Prototype Modelling, CNC Turning, CNC Milling, and Welding. Competitions will be held at 2 sites.

Five contestants and five experts will take part from Tatarstan. The work at these sites is supervised by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Almaz Khusainov.

Tatarstan also became a participant of the All-Russian No-Turnstile Week campaign, with 23 republic’s industrial and commercial enterprises participating.

Within the framework of the campaign, Director General of the Kazan Powder Plant Aleksandr Livshits held an open lesson on April 17 for students of the Gymnasium No. 50 in the Kirovsky District of Kazan. The event was attended by 40 people. During the open lesson, the children heard about the Powder Plant history, the targeted study programme in higher educational institutions and colleges, watched a movie about manufacturing processes at the plant, and got acquainted with the activities of the company’s youth organisation.

Also on April 17, third-year students of the Kazan National Research Technological University visited the Kazan Powder Plant. The students were given а tour of the plant with a visit to its core production units. Students majoring in technology of pyrotechnic compositions and products learnt about key areas of activities, working conditions of employees, and a rich history of the organisation. Specifically for the students, a demonstration shot was fired from a 120-mm tank gun. The event programme was rounded off with a visit to the company’s museum.

Today, on April 18, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov took part in the expanded Collegium meeting of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade dedicated to the results of 2017 and targets for 2018.

The meeting were attended by Deputy Prime Ministers Arkady Dvorkovich, Dmitry Rogozin, Olga Golodets, members of the Russian Federation Government, representatives of federal authorities and executive bodies of Russia regions, sectoral associations, industrial enterprises, and trade organisations.

Within the framework of the working visit of the Tatarstan delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to India, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov visited the production facilities of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited on April 17.
