Tatarstan was visited by Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of Gazprom. His working trip began with a visit to the Innopolis University, where an exhibition of Tatarstan enterprises was organised. It presented the displays of innovative and import-substituting products manufactured by enterprises from Tatarstan for the needs of Gazprom. During the tour, Vitaly Markelov was accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The guests saw samples of gas engine equipment: passenger cars and gas-powered agricultural vehicles, including MTZ tractors. The exhibition featured the developments of such companies from Tatarstan and Russian regions as Elektropribor, KMPO, RariTEK, Tasma, Kazancompressormash, etc.

At the stand of the Zelenodolsk Shipyard, Rustam Minnikhanov and Vitaly Markelov signed an action plan for the implementation of a pilot project for the use of river vessels operating on liquefied natural gas on republic’s tourist routes. The construction of such a ship is currently launched at the Zelenodolsk Shipyard.

After viewing the exhibition, a meeting was held on implementing the roadmap for interaction between Gazprom and republic’s industrial complex. At the meeting, promising cooperation areas were also mentioned: development of gas filling infrastructure, construction of gas pipelines, and an Innopolis University project to develop an information site for integrated geomechanical modelling of gas fields.
