On December 18, 2019, a press conference was held at Tatenergosbyt aimed to summarise the results of the company’s work for 9 months of 2019 and outline the main tasks for the next year.
The company’s experts introduced the press conference participants to the structure of the client base in Tatenergosbyt, major changes in electricity generation and consumption, pricing issues for consumers, and presented the opportunities of a Client Area for individuals. The new Client Area is now under testing. In addition to collection of utility meter readings and payment for them, the service will also have a history of payments and readings, consumption statistics for all resources, and an opportunity of submitting online applications.
A round table discussion was also held during the press conference, where reporters were informed about changes in the company’s organisational structure: on December 3, the reorganisation procedure of Main Clearing Centre - Tatenergosbyt was completed in the form of a merger with Tatenergosbyt. Now, the united organisation carries out the functions of both the republic’s guaranteeing supplier and the clearing centre. It was noted that in the new year, the power supply service will be included in a single payment document. In January, this will be implemented as a pilot project in the Sabinsky District, in February, in Yelabuga and Mendeleyevsk, and starting from March, throughout Tatarstan.
