Kazakhstani manufacturers will come to Kazan to present their products at an international exhibition for the hospitality industry.
Six manufacturers will have their displays at the stand of Kazakhstan: Korik ShK (directly squeezed juices), Sultan Marketing (pasta and confectionery), Yelena Sewing Production (cook’s tunics, tracksuits, T-shirts, polo shirts), Summer Song (natural juices), Aurora (household chemicals and cosmetics), Nefis Group (coffee mix, wet wipes), etc.
The stand was organised by the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan, with the support from the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Russia and the Trade Representative Office of Kazakhstan in Russia.
The Horeca by Kazan’2019 is the first exhibition in Kazan of the professional restaurant and hotel segment. The event will be held from October 23 to 25 to bring together all representatives of the tourism market at its Kazan Expo site. Exhibition participants will attend training programmes, sessions, professional contests, and displays of the best manufacturers.

The delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan and representatives of the Tatarstan’s petrochemical companies had a meeting today in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan to exchange experience. The Kazakhstani delegation includes representatives of the Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO, operator of one of the world’s largest oil and gas fields), authorised body from the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, as well as the Akimat of the Burlinsky District of Kazakhstan.
Opening the meeting, Deputy Minister Aleksey Savelchev spoke about the specific features of the republic’s petrochemical sector, the main developments and existing competencies in the field of oil production and oil refining in Tatarstan.
Further at the meeting, presentations were made by representatives of the Tatarstan-based companies Tatneft and TANECO. They talked about the main projects underway at their enterprises, innovative developments and outcomes. Representatives of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding also took part in the discussion.
In the afternoon, the delegation from Kazakhstan met with representatives of other Tatarstan’s companies, such as Tagras-Holding, TatProm-Holding, Tatintec, the Engineering and Production Centre, the Scientific and Production Enterprise of Integrated Gas Systems, the Kazan Motor-Building Production Association, Kazancompressormash, and KER-Holding.
Tomorrow, the Kazakhstani delegation expects to a tour of the enterprises in the Alabuga SEZ, after which the results of the visit will be summed up at a working meeting in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan.
Today, the first introductory meeting was held between Minister Albert Karimov and Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kazan Zhanbolat Murzalin.
At a working level, the parties discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two regions. The Consul General outlined the most interesting areas in terms of expertise existing in Tatarstan in developing the gas engine fuel market, as well as on the supply of neuro-simulators to educational institutions in Kazakhstan.
“Of particular interest among the akims of our republic are the developments of Tatarstan in the field of agriculture,” said Zhanbolat Murzalin.
Particular attention was paid to the organisation of bilateral visits. Consul Murzalin noted the high potential and progress of partnership relations.
The Consul General also spoke about the upcoming visits of Kazakhstan delegations to Tatarstan. The visits, in particular, are expected to the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park and other industrial enterprises of the republic.
