Today, an industrial delegation from Tatarstan is on a working visit to Belarus.
In the morning, a delegation headed by Minister Karimov visited the Minsk Automobile Plant. The automotive company specialising in the production of heavy-duty trucks, as well as buses, trolleybuses, and trailer equipment was presented by its acting Deputy Director General Sergey Shulyak.
At the 7th meeting of the working group for cooperation between Tatarstan and Belarus, the parties discussed issues of bilateral trade and economic collaboration and the Action Plan for 2017-2020 on the implementation of the Agreement between the regions. Particular attention in the discussion was paid to the development of industrial cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering and in the petrochemical sector, supply of agricultural equipment for the republic’s agro-industrial sector, as well as cooperation in the field of science and innovation.
In the follow-up of the meeting, protocol documents and cooperation agreements were signed between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, as well as between the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics and the Kazan (Volga) Federal University.
At the close of the visit, the delegation made a tour of the Great Stone Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park. The Park is an entity with an area of 112.5 sq. kilometres enjoying a special legal treatment to ensure a comfortable business environment.
Against the backdrop of the upcoming visit of the extended delegation from Tatarstan to Belarus and the meeting of the 7th joint working group, representatives of Tatarstan visited several enterprises of Belarus to discuss issues of cooperation.
On the first day of the visit, the delegation headed by Deputy Minister Ildar Mingaleyev made a tour of such machine-building enterprises as the Minsk Motor Plant, the Belarus Minsk Tractor Works, Amkodor, BelAZ, and others.
The issues for the discussion were the prospects for the joint development and introduction of vehicles run on liquefied natural gas, the issue of organising the assembly production of small-sized municipal machinery in the republic for the needs of housing and utilities sector, the use of Yelabuga batteries on Belarusian equipment, and other issues.
Today, Deputy Minister Ildar Mingaleyev is on a working visit to the Republic of Belarus. The delegation from Tatarstan comprises representatives of republic’s industrial enterprises, Raritek Holding, and Nizhnekamskneftekhim.
The first item of the programme was a visit to the Ministry of Industry of Belarus, where a meeting was held with First Deputy Minister Gennady Svidersky.
The discussion was also attended by industrial enterprises of Belarus, such as MTZ, UKH-MMZ, MAZ-UKH BELAVTOMAZ and AMKODOR-UKH. The main topic of the meeting was the cooperation development in the field of mechanical engineering, in particular, expanding the use of gas engine technology.
In the afternoon, the delegation from Tatarstan visited Amkodor and the Great Stone China-Belarus Industrial Park.

The China-Belarus Industrial Park has an area of 112.5 square kilometres and enjoys a special legal treatment to ensure a comfortable business environment.
Tomorrow, Ildar Mingaleyev plans to visit two more industrial enterprises of the Republic of Belarus, MogilevLiftMash and MogilevKhimVolokno.
