Today, Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov took part in the visit of the Tatarstan delegation to the Rostov region.
Within the framework of the programme, the delegation headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the opening ceremony of the I-Plast facility in the city of Azov (35 kilometres from Rostov-On-Don). The event began with a brief tour and presentation of the new plant’s products.
I-Plast is a plant founded in Nizhnekamsk (Republic of Tatarstan) in 2009. The company produces large-sized plastic industrial containers and packaging, as well as MSW containers. The company’s distribution chain in Russia and neighbouring countries comprises over 30 partners. In 2018, I-Plast processed 39 million tonnes of polymer stock, of which 34 million tonnes come from Nizhnekamskneftekhim.
Also during the visit, Albert Karimov and Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with representatives of the Rostov Regional Yaktashlar Tatar-Bashkir Cultural Centre.
The visit of the Tatarstan delegation to the Rostov Region ended with a meeting with the Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev. As part of the meeting, an agreement was signed between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Rostov Region on trade and economic, scientific, technology, social, and cultural cooperation.
