Today, a plenary session was held at the IT Park within the framework of the 2nd Forum of Students Living outside Tatarstan.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov delivered a welcoming speech at the Forum. The Forum’s events were also attended by Minister of Youth Affairs Damir Fattakhov and an honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts, industrial designer Vladimir Pirozhkov.

The 2nd Forum of Students Living outside Tatarstan opened on August 18 at the Innopolis University. Deputy Minister Almaz Khusainov took part in the opening ceremony. The Forum’s participants are over 150 talented and promising students who have passed the selection. The selection criteria were geographical background in Tatarstan (a student was born and lived in the republic), personal motivation and availability of innovative ideas or projects which young compatriots are ready to offer to Tatarstan.

In addition to the plenary session, many business and entertainment events are expected for the forum participants. These are trainings and master classes on topics such as oratory, time management, successful interviewing, increasing one’s effectiveness, and personal motivation. Among the cultural and entertainment events, students are expected to attend the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 opening ceremony, tour the city of Innopolis, and participate in intellectual games.

On August 18-22, 2019 Kazan will host the 2nd Forum of Students Studying Outside Tatarstan. The Republic of Tatarstan is active in interaction with students who have graduated from Tatarstan schools and are currently studying outside the republic at leading country’s universities. Tatarstan also plays an active role in the employment of graduates in profession-oriented specialties in Russia.

The mission of the Forum is to inform students about employment opportunities and personal fulfilment at the leading republic’s enterprises. The Forum will bring together 150 talented students in engineering and humanities, IT field. Participants will enjoy a rich educational and cultural programme, networking sessions, meetings with republic’s leaders, top executives of major enterprises and business structures, and attendance in the 45th WorldSkills Competition.

Participation in the forum is open for students born in Tatarstan and studying in universities outside the republic (including 2019 graduates) who are ready to suggest their breakthrough innovative ideas for joint implementation with the republic.

The organisers bear all expenses for the stay and participation of the Forum delegates on the territory of Tatarstan.
