Today, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a working meeting with representatives of Magnit, Head of Government Relations Department Alla Dyomina and Director of Kazan Branch Sergey Bodunov.

The main issue of the current meeting was the organisation and holding of a training workshop for potential Tatarstan product suppliers to the Magnit chain stores and conducting a Supplier Day based on its results.

The participants to the meeting discussed topics that may be included in the workshop agenda. These are, in particular, the peculiarities and main issues of supplier cooperation with Magnit, a green agenda (use of recycled materials, eco-products, installation of recycling kiosks for containers), and the company's digital business.

The organisational aspects of the planned event were also dealt with, including the event date, venue, and potential participants.

These issues are discussed in pursuance of the instructions by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov following his meeting with President and CEO of PAO Magnit Jan Dunning, which was held in June this year on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Russian Helicopters Holding delivered a Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter manufactured by the Kazan Helicopters for the Republic of Tuva. This is the second helicopter delivered to the Tuva Airlines under the contract signed in 2018.

The Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter will be used in the region as part of a programme to improve transport accessibility in remote areas. The first helicopter, delivered to the customer ahead of time, is already carrying out tasks for its intended purpose. It was transferred on April 25, 2019.

Both Mi-8MTV-1 delivered for the Tuva Airlines are equipped with auxiliary power units, providing the function of an emergency source of electricity in the event of a generator failure. Helicopters are equipped with external cable suspensions, medevac and rescue equipment. In addition, Mi-8MTV-1 are equipped with 300-kg winches that are capable to carry out rescue operations.

The delivery of helicopters under this contract was made possible largely owing to the Agreement on Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technology, Social and Cultural Cooperation between Tuva and Tatarstan. The document was signed in Kyzyl in 2016 by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Republic of Tuva Sholban Kara-ool.

The Tuva Airlines specialises in cargo and passenger transportation. Its fleet is equipped with Mi-8 helicopters and compact aircraft.
