Today, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the discussion on the creation of the International Medical Cluster of Tatarstan.
Within the framework of this topic, Minister Karimov and Deputy Minister Savelchev, jointly with State Duma Deputy Ayrat Farrakhov, discussed the issues of the draft Federal Law “On Amendments to the Federal Law No. 160-FZ dated June 29, 2015 “On International Medical Cluster and Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts”.
This project delimits the scope of the city of Moscow and the Moskovskaya Oblast to interact exclusively with residents from OECD countries, and Tatarstan, with residents from the BRICS and SCO countries.
Further on, Albert Karimov also held a meeting with representatives of PharmMedPolis and the ATEM Capital investment fund. The parties discussed issues of bringing residents to the medical industrial park and attracting foreign investment in the medical cluster of Tatarstan.
The creation of the International Medical Cluster on the territory of Tatarstan would expand the availability of effective methods for treating patients by means of traditional medicine, organise the transfer of the best medical practices, localise the production of natural preparations, and would also contribute to the development of medical tourism in Russia and Tatarstan.
