Nizhnekamskneftekhim completed the retrofitting of control centres at the Production Directorate and the Chief Power Engineer Board.
In order to create an operation control station capable of performing new tasks, it was equipped with the most up-to-date facilities for communications and control of production processes. To monitor the effluents, an interactive map was developed to see the quality of wastewater online and take operational measures if necessary.
Particular attention was paid to improving the production monitoring system: video screens (video walls) were installed that allow online monitoring of production processes in the company’s units. For this purpose, experts of the company developed the software necessary for the steady and synchronous operation of a large number of different programmes.
Following the work done by the company, the operations controllers of Nizhnekamskneftekhim got the opportunity to view the video walls of the production units. In the round-the-clock mode, they monitor the movement of feedstock flows, finished products, information on shipment and much more. Moreover, graphic panels of the ethylene plant process units were created and optimised for the upgraded production monitoring system.
