In accordance with the anticorruption legislation in force, civil officers included into the list of civil service positions related to corruption risks, are obliged to submit, annually before the 30 April, records on incomes, assets and property obligations for themselves and their family members for the previous calendar year. The Ministry of Industry and Trade held a briefing session with the participation of the tax inspection experts in order to avoid any errors in the data to be submitted.

On 5 March 2012, Tatarstan delegation headed by Ildar Khalikov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, is on the working trip to the Azerbaijani Republic.

On 28 February 2012, famous cookery expert Yunus Akhmetzyanov, an author of numerous books dedicated to national Tatar cuisine, the Honoured Worker of Trade of RSFSR, would have turned 85 years.

On 23 February 2012, the first wholesale trade outlet of SELGROS Cash&Carry was grandly opened in Kazan.

On 22 February at 10.00 a grand opening of the “Tatarstan-Turkey 2012” Trade and Investment Furniture Manufacturers Forum was held for the first time in the Republic of Tatarstan in Korston Hotel & Mall, Kazan.

On 21 February 2012, the Kazan Fair Exhibition Centre held an annual Business Forum “Restaurant Our Business2012” for the executives and professionals of the public catering establishments. The forum is co-organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and EVENT MAKE company.

On 16 February 2012, the opening ceremony of the All-Russia Forum of Agencies for Conformity Assessment in the Sphere of Technical Regulation took place in the Korston Hotel & Mall Kazan. The participants were greeted by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Ravil Muratov. The Forum was attended by top officials of both the Russian Federation and the Tatarstan governments and agencies, including Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.

 
On 10 February 2012, a joint session of the Collegiums of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry of Energy was held. The Collegium was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam N. Minnikhanov. The Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov presented his comprehensive report “Improving the Competitiveness of the Industrial Enterprises and Consumer Market of the Republic of Tatarstan: Results, Tasks and Prospects”.

On 10 February 2012, a joint session of the Collegiums of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry of Energy entitled “Results of Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2011. Forming the Global Competitiveness of the Tatarstan Economy” will be held with the participation of the Tatarstan President Rustam N. Minnikhanov.
