On 5 June 2015, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and Belarus Minister of Industry Aleksandr Ogorodnikov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation in mechanical engineering, chemicals, petrochemicals, light industry, and consumer market.
On 5 June 2015, the meeting was held in the videoconference format with Tatarstan representatives abroad and in Russian regions. The meeting was chaired by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov. The meeting was attended by top officials and executives from Tatarstan ministries, agencies, and non-governmental organisations.
Ravil Zaripov focused on the challenges that Tatarstan representatives abroad and in Russian regions are facing in the field of trade, economic and investment cooperation.
On 5 June 2015, the area in front of Kazan Arena Stadium hosted the large-scale Nefis Rock&Dance Festival dedicated to the 160th Anniversary of Nefis Group. The event programme featured such music bands, as Chizh & Co, Bi-2, Serga, Chaif, and others.
In his welcoming speech, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov congratulated Nefis Company with its anniversary.
On 3 June 2015, Ford Sollers Joint Venture in Naberezhnye Chelny launched a full-cycle production of new Ford Fiesta in sedan and 5-door hatchback variants.
The start-up ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Interim President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Ford Sollers Company Ted Cannis.
On 3 June 2015, two new projects were launched at SEZ Alabuga. Huhtamaki Foodservice Alabuga Plant (disposable tableware) and logistics park of HAVI Logistics company were opened. The opening ceremony was attended by Tatarstan Interim President Rustam Minnikhanov. Both of the enterprises are oriented towards McDonald’s fast food chain.
From 2 to 6 June 2015, Moscow is hosting the Russian Retail Chains Week. Russian Retail Chains Week is a large-scale sectoral event involving business circles and the Government that will be held for the first time in the field of retailing.
The organisers of the Russian Retail Week are the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Retail Companies Association, which unites the largest retailers of Russia.
On 1 June 2015, the OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding held an annual meeting of its shareholders. The Board of Directors was updated by 26 newly-elected members. On 1 June 2015, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and representatives of OAO Gazprom Mezhregiongaz.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation within the framework of the Russian Regions Gas Supply Network Programme implemented by OAO Gazprom.
On 28 May 2015, Kazan held the conference of Metro Cash&Carry suppliers under the auspices of Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuff. The conference was attended by top executives of Metro Cash&Carry Russia Company, leading experts in various areas of activities, over 50 acting suppliers and prospective Metro Cash&Carry partners.
The mission of the event is to improve interaction and efficiency of cooperation between the retail chain and Tatarstan commodity producers.
On 29 May 2015, Nizhnekamsk hosted the official celebration of the Chemist’s Day.
The official event was attended by Tatarstan Interim President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian President in the Volga Region Mikhail Babitch, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Head of Nizhnekamsk District Aidar Metshin, top executives and long-service employees of Tatarstan petrochemical enterprises, lecturers and students of Kazan National Research Technological University, Kazan Federal University, Nizhnekamsk Institute for Chemical Technology, winner students of All-Russian and republics’ academic contests, and the Tatarstan’s best chemistry teachers. The total number of participants is estimated at 5,000 people.
