On 2 July 2015, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between the delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by Deputy Vice President on International Affairs and Technology Exchange of Iran Ali Morteza Birang and Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov. The meeting was attended by representatives of Consulate General of the I.R. of Iran in Kazan, Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding, OAO Kazankompressormash, OOO UK TMS Group, OAO Tatkhimfarmpreparaty, АО Kamaz Foreign Trade Company, OOO UK KER-Holding, OAO PO YelAZ, OAO Tatneft, and PAO Kazanorgsintez.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of creating Iran-Tatarstan Joint Working Group and the promising areas of cooperation.
On 1 July 2015, Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre hosted the opening ceremony of ‘JewellerExpo’, one of the largest specialised jewellery exhibitions in Russia.
The mission of the exhibition is to ensure further development of the jewellery market, provide products that meet tastes and traditions of people living in Tatarstan, assist to Russia’s manufacturers in the development of the Russia’s jewellery market, and increase customer demand on jewellery.
The participants of the exhibition were over 200 manufacturing companies and trading organisations from forty cities of Russia.
On 30 June 2015, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting chaired by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rashat Fattakhowith with the delegation from the Turkey-based Elit Chocolate.
The meeting was attended by top executives of Tatarstan major retail chains and wholesale and retail enterprises that sell confectionery, including chocolate, in Tatarstan.
During the meeting, the top executives of Elit Chocolate described their activities and outlook for the company’s development, and offered a tasting session of their products. The parties also considered areas for promising cooperation between Elit Chocolat and trade outlets from Tatarstan.
The 3rd Republic’s TV Working Youth Creativity Festival ‘Our Time – Beznen zaman’ started in Tatarstan.
The meetings are attended by Tatarstan Deputy Minister Almaz Khusainov, officials from the Tatarstan President Administration, representatives of Regional Youth Non-Governmental Organisation of Tatarstan ‘Constellation – Yolduzlyk’, municipal entities, and Tatarstan enterprises and organisations.
On 29 June 2015, Tatarstan House of Government hosted the meeting between Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary the Republic of Cuba in the Russian Federation Emilio Lozada Garcia. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to the Tatarstan President for International Economic Activities Nazil Nasibullin, representatives of major Tatarstan enterprises, etc.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the outlook for further bilateral cooperation between Cuba and Tatarstan.
On 29 June 2015, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov presented a memorial souvenir to Head of Translations Department Engil Ismagilov on his 55th Anniversary.
On 26 June 2015, Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting between the top executives of Turkey-based Korkmaz Group and the representatives of OAO Generating Company, OAO KER Holding Holding Company, and OAO Kazan Motor-Building Production Association. The meeting was chaired by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov.
During the meeting, the top executives of Korkmaz Group presented detailed information about activities of their company; the parties considered areas of promising cooperation between Korkmaz Group and Tatarstan enterprises.
On 24 June 2014, the meeting was held between Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations Graziano da Silva. The meeting was attended by Tatarstan First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ruslan Kabirov. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation within the organisation’s terms of reference.
At the end of the meeting, the Kazan State Agricultural University and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations signed a Letter of Intent in the presence of Rustam Minnikhanov.
Kazan Helicopters (a part of the Russian Helicopters Holding under the Rostec State Corporation) held the 4th prom of the specialised “helicopter” physics and mathematics class of Humanities Gymnasium No. 8.
The graduates were congratulated by officials from the Tatarstan Ministry of Education and Science, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Kazan National Research Technical University.
