On 17 December 2015, Interim Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov held a working meeting. Within the meeting, the Tatarstan draft law “On industrial policy in the Republic of Tatarstan” was discussed.

The participants of the meeting discussed the amendments to the draft law suggested by members of the working group that elaborated this document. The draft law is elaborated in accordance with the Federal law dated 31 December 2014 No. 488-FZ “On industrial policy in the Russian Federation”.

During the meeting, issues of elaboration and adoption of regulatory acts of the Republic of Tatarstan necessary for implementing the law, including a state programme “Development of the industry of the Republic of Tatarstan” were considered as well.

On 17 December 2015, the Tatarstan House of Government hosted a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the implementing construction and capital repairs programmes.

The meeting was attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the State Corporation “Housing Reform Fund” Sergei Stepashin, Director General of the “Housing Reform Fund” Konstantin Tsitsin, Interim Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin and others.

On 17 December 2015, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted a meeting of the Tatarstan Anti-Corruption Commission chaired by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade.

The meeting dealt with the issues of anti-corruption programme implementation and additional measures aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the programme. Information and analytic materials of the Tatarstan Committee for Socio-Economic Monitoring were considered as well.

On 17 December 2015, the hundredth supermarket “Pyaterochka” was opened in Kazan. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Volzhsk branch of X5 Retail Group, and Volzhsk division of the outlet chain “Pyaterochka”.

The new store offers 4.000 items of goods. In the supermarket customers can easily find local products, including the products of OAO Tatspirtprom, OOO Pestrechinka, OOO UK Prosto Moloko, OAO Zelenodolsk Dairy Plant, OAO Kazan Bakery No.3, OAO BKK (Bakery Plant), AO Chelny-Khleb (bread), OOO Chelny-Myaso (meat), OOO Chelny-Broiler (chicken broiler) and others.

The sales area of the supermarket covers 509 m2. The number of service staff is18 people.

On 16 December 2015, the Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting of the Organizing Committee of “Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” 2016 contest under the chairmanship of Interim Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.

During the meeting, the head of the Ministry suggested to create a working group on improving organization of the contest and its holding.

Members of the Organizing Committee considered offers on improving organization of the contest and its holding, including on the expansion of product range and services submitted for the contest.

At the end of the session, Interim Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov thanked the organizers of the Contest and representatives of expert committees and delivered the awards to the winners.

On 15 December 2015, the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding was held under the chairmanship of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Interim Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.

During the meeting, a number of offers were considered for the petrochemical sector in Tatarstan.

On 15 December 2015, the first meeting of the State Committee to Combat Illicit Trafficking in Industrial Products in Tatarstan was held under the chairmanship of Interim Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council Yury Kamaltynov, top executives of territorial administrations of federal authorities, top officials of Tatarstan ministries and agencies and top executives of Tatarstan enterprises and organisations.

The first meeting of the Committee dealt with the quality issues of petrol and diesel fuel sold in the republic and with progress in combating illegal sales of dairy products, as well as the measures to improve joint activities in combating illicit trafficking of counterfeit goods.

On 15 December 2015, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the KVART plant based in Kazan that manufactures industrial rubber products. He was accompanied by Interim Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Rinat Sabirov, Director General of AO KVART Rafael Galimov, etc.

Within the framework of enhancing the quality of their products, the first stage of upgrading the rubber mix line was held at the enterprise.

The enterprise is cooperating with such companies as OAO KAMAZ, OAO NEFAZ, OAO AvtoVAZ, OAO GAZ, OAO Tatneft, OAO Surgutneftegaz, Kazan Helicopters, OAO Russian Railways, etc.

15 December 2015 saw the awarding ceremony of winners and awardees of Energopartner 2015 Contest.

Traditionally, OAO Tatenergosbyt chooses the best electric power consumers among Tatarstan legal entities in the end of the year. This year, over 30.000 clients claimed to the best energy partners of the company.

Following the results of the contest, OAO Tatkhimfarmpreparaty (Kazan) and ОАО Zainsk Sugar Plant (Zainsk) ranked first among industrial enterprises; SKhPK Tan (Atninsky District, Novye Shashi settlement) became the winner among agricultural enterprises. OOO Tide Foil (Arsk) was named the winner among small and medium-sized businesses; City Clinical Hospital No.7 (Kazan) became the winner among state budget-funded organisations, and Krasny Kluch Home Owners Association (Nizhnekamsk District, Krasny Kluch settlement) ranked first among providers of public utility services.

On 15 December 2015, the meeting of the Economic Council under the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers was held under the chairmanship of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

The meeting was attended by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Interim Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, top officials of Tatarstan ministries and agencies, supervisory authorities, as well as top executives of Tatarstan enterprises.

During the meeting, issues of Tatarstan enterprises’ good standing were discussed in the format of videoconference.
