The 23rd International Security Technologies Forum will be held in the period of February 13 to 15, 2018 in Moscow (Crocus Congress Hall).

The Security Technologies Forum is an annual event being held with the support from the Federation Council Committee for Defence and Security.

In 2015 on the initiative of the event participants, the Forum Organising Committee took a resolution to expand and update its format. It was decided to hold a Security Month, that is, a series of events, varying in format and geography but united by a common idea, to discuss and address the most urgent national security issues in the Russian Federation. In this respect, the Security Technologies Forum is the central event of the Security Month.

The Security Month was successfully held in February 2016 and February 2017. Within the framework of the project, more than 500 events of different formats were held throughout the country.

By the decision of the Organising Committee, the Security Month is declared an annual project. In this context, it is suggested to carry out a number of activities at the regional and municipal levels in February 2018 on the issues of ensuring national security in the Russian Federation and to include these events in the general specialised calendar for the Security Month.

In pursuance of the order by Russian President and Supervisory Board Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Vladimir Putin, the All-Russia Mentor Forum will be held on February 13 to 15, 2018 at the Moscow’s National Exhibition of Economic Achievements (VDNKh, Pavilion 75).

The Forum’s mission is to develop a mentoring movement, to seek and collect the best mentoring practices for their replication and implementation in Russian regions.

Within the framework of the Forum, the results of the Best Mentoring Practices contest will also be summed up. The contest is to be held in 5 categories: “Mentoring in Production”, “Mentoring in Business and Entrepreneurship”, “Mentoring in Social Sphere”, “Mentoring in Education and Study Groups Movement”, and “Children Teaching Children”. Additionally, two personal categories were approved: “Mentor of the Year Grand Prix” and “Executive of the Year”.

The Forum will be attended by representatives of all 85 Russian regions, major state corporations, federal and regional authorities and businesses, outstanding mentors in industry, education, business, social sphere, members of professional associations related to mentoring practices, project leaders and students of relevant universities.
