15 October 2019, Tuesday

Within the framework of the International Science and Innovation Forum, Tatneft will organise a hackathon under the title of "Business through the Eyes of a Student”.

Senior course students and master degree holders of technical universities are invited to participate in the event to solve real production cases.

The hackathon will be held on October 18 at the premises of the company’s Yunost health improvement summer camp in Almetyevsk. The participants will be offered production cases for technology challenges in three areas: Exploration and Production, Oil and Gas Processing, and Tyre Manufacturing Complex. Based on the hackathon’s results, 7 best students will have an opportunity to undertake a salaried internship at the Tatneft’s Centre for Technology Development.

The hackathon will be held as part of the International Science and Innovation Forum being organised from October 16 to 18, 2019 by Tatneft jointly with the Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute. The Forum programme will include a plenary session on the topic “Life after Oil”, which will focus on the anticipated world energy developments by 2040, the prospects for low-carbon future, and the readiness of oil companies and the entire industry for future changes.
