Visit of Russian MIT’s delegation to Technopolis Himgrad

Today, a delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation represented by Deputy Minister Vasily Osmakov and Deputy Director for Strategic Development and Corporate Policies Department Artur Galiullin visited the Technopolis Himgrad. The delegation was accompanied by Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Albert Karimov and other officials.

During the visit, the guests were given an insight into the site and history of Technopolis as the first certified industrial park in Russia, and were informed about tax privileges for residents and existing business support programmes. In the production module, representatives of the federal ministry examined the conditions for locating production facilities in the territory of the Technopolis, saw the exhibition of finished products manufactured by residents, and visited the design office for the development of unmanned cargo aircraft.

The event ended with a visit to Danaflex, a Russia’s leading manufacturer of flexible packaging and wrapping film. Group President Ayrat Bashirov conducted a tour of the production facilities and demonstrated advanced printing and extrusion equipment.
